Ronald Whitmer, D.O., Family Medicine:
Dr. Whitmer, a Wilson, Kansas native and after graduating from Wilson High School, Dr. Whitmer
graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in chemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor
of Osteopathy Degree in 1979 from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City.

Dr. Slomka is originally from Poland and occasionally returns to visit his Jerzy Slomka, MD
homeland. He migrated to Kansas from New York City where he

completed his residency. Dr. Slomka studied medicine in Lublin after
which he served his internship in Poland. Not only does Dr. Slomka read,

write and speak Polish and English, but he is also proficient in Russian,
German and Esperanto. He and his wife, Lydia have raised their family in

Ellsworth and greatly appreciate the small town.

An Ellsworth native and 2003 graduate of Ellsworth High School, McWilliams graduated Washburn
University in Topeka in 2007, and then the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2011.
Dr. McWilliams completed residency training at Smoky Hill Family Medicine program in Salina. She was
excited for the opportunity to return home and has been in practice since September 2014.
