Memorial Health System (MHS), Abilene, Kansas, provides quality care through nine affiliates.

Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed not-for-profit critical access hospital with an additional 10-bed geriatric psychiatric unit that has served the needs of Abilene since 1922. Memorial Hospital provides quality healthcare to a service area population of 13,000. The medical staff consists of more than 60 allied health professionals and physicians. Memorial Hospital prides itself on the quality patient care its staff provides, and consistently ranks in the highest percentiles on patient satisfaction surveys.

Mission:

It is the mission of Memorial Health System to promote the health and wellness of those we serve, and to enhance their quality of life through the delivery of coordinated, cost effective, and quality services.

Memorial Health System has recently completed a $24 million building project that included the construction of a new hospital and renovation of the existing building to create modern physician office space with up to date technology. The new hospital opened in May 2013. The new physician office space opened in September 2014.

Heartland Health Care Clinic is a Rural Health Clinic with 6 physicians and 3 mid-levels specializing in family medicine. The clinic offers sick and well-child care, women's health services, acute care, geriatric care, immunizations, and other family medicine services.

Over 12 visiting specialists offer outpatient specialty services through HHCC. A board certified Rheumatologist and board certified anesthesiologist are part of the team.

Heartland Surgery offers general surgery services through Memorial Hospital.

Comprehensive Pain Solutions offers pain management services for chronic pain and acute pain from an injury. The clinic is located at Memorial Hospital. Its goals are to decrease pain, increase function and help patients maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Village Manor, an 81-bed facility, offers long term care, skilled care, and short-term recovery care. The facility offers services for each person's level of care including a special care unit for those with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Frontier Estates is a 60-unit independent-living apartment facility for those over age 62 or with disabilities. It is located three blocks from the heart of downtown within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, churches, and many downtown Abilene business establishments. Frontier Estates is a Housing and Urban Development Project owned and managed by Memorial Health System.

Learn & Grow Depot is a child development center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The center's teachers partner with parents to develop an individual care plan for each child. The center's preschool offers experiences and curriculum developmentally appropriate and child centered.

Impact Sports and Fitness is a complete, modern, full-service family fitness facility offering cardiovascular equipment, nautilus and free weights, selectorized equipment, fitness classes, and walking track.

Home Health & Hospice of Dickinson County is committed to providing quality in-home and hospice services in the patient's home. The physicians and a team of professionals work together to develop a care program to meet patient needs. Services include: skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy, aide services, Lifeline emergency response system, dietary consultation, and social services.
