Lincoln County HospitalLincoln, KSLincoln County Hospital is a 14 bed, critical access hospital with two rural health clinics; one in Lincoln and one in Sylvan Grove. The medical staff currently consists of two full-time physicians, and three mid-level practitioners. A recent renovation project included: a new pharmacy, laboratory, two new emergency room bays, an ambulance bay, a new nurses station, the addition of three new patient rooms, expansion of all therapy departments, as well as, updates to the lobby, and the existing patient rooms. Physicians have in-house access to a 16-slice CT scanner, ultrasound, comprehensive lab services, and physical, speech, and occupational therapy. There are also weekly MRI services and monthly Nuclear Medicine services available. Digital mammography and bone density scans are also available. Lincoln County Hospital recently completed a six million-dollar remodeling project. The Hospital secured financing to initiate this exciting project through Public Building Commission Revenue Bonds. The project was completed in three phases to allow the Hospital to remain open during this period of time.
